By booking or using PurgeByte's services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
PurgeByte provides digital decluttering, device optimization, file organization, and related guidance services. Services are delivered remotely via screen-sharing tools or, where agreed, through on-site visits (additional charges apply).
2. Eligibility
By using our services, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- You have the legal right to authorize changes to the device(s) being serviced
- You have backed up important data before service begins (PurgeByte recommend this strongly)
3. Booking & Payment
- Services are booked via WhatsApp or Email. Confirmation is sent upon agreement of scope and package.
- Payment is requested after scope agreement and before service delivery begins.
- Accepted payment methods: UPI apps such as PhonePe, GPay, etc.
- GST Notice: PurgeByte operates as a virtual, unregistered entity. PurgeByte do not charge GST and do not issue GST-compliant invoices. You will receive a simple payment receipt for your records.
4. Service Delivery
- Remote sessions require your active presence and permission. You may disconnect at any time.
- PurgeByte use professional tools (Zoom, Teams, AnyDesk, etc.) for screen sharing. You retain full control of your device.
- For on-site visits (if arranged), travel fees may apply based on location.
- Service duration is estimated during booking. Complex cases may require additional time (quoted in advance).
5. Limitations of Service
- Hardware: PurgeByte do not repair or replace physical hardware. However, PurgeByte may identify potential hardware issues and advise on replacement options.
- Data Recovery: PurgeByte can assist with accidental deletion recovery in many cases, but PurgeByte is not a dedicated data recovery service. Severely corrupted or physically damaged storage requires specialist services.
- Malware: PurgeByte use trusted tools for malware scanning/removal and run own scripts to run diagonastic checklists on the user computer if necessary. For severe infections, a full system reinstall may be recommended for safety.
- Third-Party Services: PurgeByte is not responsible for issues arising from third-party apps, cloud services, or carrier restrictions.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
- Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session with no penalty.
- Late cancellations (<24 hours) may incur a small fee to cover reserved time.
- Refunds are considered case-by-case within 48 hours of service completion if you are unsatisfied. Contact us via WhatsApp or Email to discuss.
7. Liability
While PurgeByte take reasonable care during service delivery:
- PurgeByte is not liable for data loss resulting from pre-existing device issues, user actions during the session, or factors beyond our control.
- Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.
8. Intellectual Property
All PurgeByte branding, website content, and service methodologies are intellectual property of PurgeByte founder in the "About" section. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize them without written permission.

PurgeByte may update these terms occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
